Why Straight Primate Talk?Well, I love Planet of the Apes. It's Cool!

No, not exactly! I have no special reasons here except to represent my voiceless brothers who lay behind bars waiting to be butchered as guineas for experimentation. Just because they were late to progress in the natural selection, the way Carl Sagan presented in his book the Dragons of Eden, doesn’t mean they ought to be voiceless forever and be left hanging loose in laboratories. These poor brethren of mine have tried their best to do what has natured assigned them to do –keep the ecosystem in tact, love nature, and know what is conservation better than any of us – only to be dissected in the end for experiments which are only meant for humans. I just could not understand why studies for humans are first applied to my poor brothers? Why? Can’t we just go straight ahead in experimenting humans? Go on, there are billions of men from streetsweepers to lawyers waiting for one grandiose abduction for experiments. Ain’t it funny that while we all converge to curb population growth, we still have not seen that butchering some of these can literally lower the number.

C’mon look at the statistics: there are billions of men roaming the planet, some of them are too crazy to catch geckos for supposedly relief for AIDS and there are only a thousand left of my monkey brothers? Just because we share a number of genes and that we belong to kingdom “animalia” doesn’t justify our means to put them into behavioral tests to be bizarrely applied for human.

Funny! Right? And if this foolishness continues, we will have to fight. I have to fight for them and show them that one of their brothers has heard their plight. If we cannot put the fight in the web, we will assemble like “Ladlad” and run for the partylist election in 2013. In this way, we can create a change, not just in laboratories but as well in the totality of mother nature who has vested us with rationality to think not just about ourselves but also of other creatures that just like us long for a peaceful living in the vast home we call earth.

Sign in, fellow primates. Our brothers need you.

PS. Joke.heheh. But should you take this joke seriously, the better. =)
